Not too far from where Liverpool’s favorite sons first touched down in the United States nearly 50 years ago, fans can soon relive the excitement and energy of seeing the Fab Four’s favorites played live on stage.
Paul Horton, owner of Century Artists Management, 711 West End Ave., New York, has announced a New York performance by the Las Vegas based Beatles Tribute Show Band, Yesterday. The engagement will be Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck.
“Yesterday is excited to be bringing our Las Vegas production to the Emelin Theatre,” said Don Bellezzo, the show band’s founder and lead vocalist. “The show is an energetic, memory-filled snapshot of the best pop group of our time. Authentic in every way, ‘Yesterday — The Beatles Tribute’ is a fascinating walk with the Beatles.”
With a three year long production at the Tropicana Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, An eight month run in Lake Tahoe at the Horizon Hotel Casino and in 2011, five months in Las Vegas at the TropicanaLV Casino Resort, Yesterday has delighted audiences on five continents with authentic garb and spot-on performances of such hits as “A Hard Day’s Night,” “Help!,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” and “Revolution.”
The Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck prides itself on bringing in popular acts appealing to all generations and tastes. The theatres intimate setting hosts the longest running community performing arts group in Westchester County, and attracts a regular audience from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
